The trauma team will be going to Tanzania to work with Courage Worldwide, which assists children who have been sex trafficked. After serving with Courage Worldwide, the team will go to Istanbul, Turkey for a few days of debriefing time before heading back to the US.

Costs: The total trip cost is $3,400, including a $500 non-refundable deposit which needs to be submitted to confirm your spot on the trip.
Requirements: In order to attend the summer immersion trip, participants need to complete most of the trauma workshops offered by CTRS/GCAT. The trip will also help those wishing to obtain the GCAT Certified Clinical Traumatologist certification, as it will allow more than 100 direct hours of work with clients. The trip can also be used as an elective for DMU students (COUN 695).
