Fr. Steven is a member of the university’s Department of Integrative Studies, which aims to foster mutually enriching dialogue and scholarship between the theological, philosophical, and psychological disciplines. He currently teaches the introductory integration course for the School of Counseling, entitled “Vocations and Virtues: The Flourishing Person.” He is also serving as chaplain.

His research interests include the following: theological anthropology, especially within the context of man’s identity in Christ, sexual ethics, especially through the “Theology of the Body” and its underlying principles, the relationship between the theological and psychological sciences, and articulating ways of proposing the truth and the Catholic faith through “The Way of Beauty.”

In summary, he is fascinated by the splendor of the truth. He enjoys helping his students to discover more deeply their own identity, to explore ways to grow in and live from their gifts, and to transmit in their professional and social lives these life-changing truths in convincing and respectful ways.
