FACULTY – Lianna R. Bennett, Psy.D.
Psy.D., Regent University
Dr. Bennett grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC for undergrad and Regent University in Virginia Beach where she obtained a Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Throughout Dr. Bennett’s work has focused on the integration of the Catholic-Christian faith and best practice in psychology. She specializes in depression and anxiety, relationship and family dysfunction, and trauma.
In addition to teaching in the online MSP for DMU, Dr. Bennett works full time as a clinician, both at her own private practice as well as part time at the Alpha Omega Clinic. She also regularly gives talks to engaged couples at the Diocesan Conference for the Engaged.
Dr. Bennett is the oldest of 4, has been told her temperament is melancholic-phlegmatic (though she would argue about the validity of the test constructs), loves traveling, is an amateur cupcake baker, is criminally negligent at yard work, and is an expert-level coffee drinker.
