Common Discipline Across Three Applications

Three anthropoligical disciplines inform our development.

Discipline one

Mentoring

Jesus spent three years mentoring his disciples. Paul mentored Timothy as they journeyed. The App, the Ministry Platform, and Practice Management are about the work of forming, evaluating, networking, and giving feedback to mentors. By God's grace, the sick and the wounded became the mentors who have led the church to this day.

Discipline two

Feedback Loops

Jesus was not shy about giving feedback. Google destroyed the competition in 2002 with a feedback loop. Beauticians, restaurant managers, and car dealers value feedback. Ministries and therapists often are not interested in it. We teach them how to use Regular Outcome Measures and Feedback-Informed Treatment.

Discipline three

Step Care Model

Psychologists and counselors hold a license to give a diagnosis. Eighty percent of their clients are not looking for one. Coaches, spiritual directors, active listeners, and many ministers fill the shortage of client allegedly needing a therapist. We equip them with the tools they need to provide assistance to their clients in healing and flourishing.

Helpers work here

Practice Management

Billing, Calendar, roster, session tools, measures, courses to take and courses to build. One per helper — coach, spiritual director, counselor, psychologist.

Organizations work here

Ministry Platform

Objective based management. The directory, the operations modules, communication, staffing, and the org's own learning library. One per parish, campus, or ministry.

Accompaniment Module

The App

Sessions, journals, community, courses, check-ins — in the community's own brand. One per person, whoever is serving them.

Practice ↔ App

The care relationship

Helper → person
  • Session invites, booking links, video rooms
  • Goals, journal prompts, habit plans
  • Assigned courses and lessons
Person → helper
  • ORS/SRS after every session — "did this help?"
  • Journal entries and check-ins the person chooses to share
  • Progress the roster view rolls up into a trajectory
Ministry Platform ↔ App

The belonging relationship

Organization → person
  • Broadcasts, events, drip journeys, welcome sequences
  • Published courses and study series
  • The applets: adoration, Mass intentions, prayer wall, forms
Person → organization
  • QR registration — into the directory before any account exists
  • Signups, form submissions, offerings
  • Anonymous pulse feedback on homilies, groups, and welcome
Ministry Platform ↔ Practice

The staffing relationship

Organization → helper
  • Org-covered seats — the parish or campus pays for the helper's practice
  • Roles, approvals, and supervision structure
  • Referrals: a member who needs care is handed to a helper, not a phone number
Helper → organization
  • Availability and services listed in the org's care offerings
  • Courses the helper built, licensed for the org to publish
  • Aggregate outcomes only — how care is going, never what was said in it

Three shapes this takes

The edges are optional. Different customers use different subsets.

Care edge only

The independent coach

A life coach runs her own practice. Clients found her directly, book through her booking form, and meet her in the app. No organization is involved — the staffing and belonging edges simply aren't in the picture.

The parish with staff

A parish runs the ministry platform and covers seats for two spiritual directors and a counselor. A parishioner scans a QR at Mass, lands in the directory, gets the welcome journey — and months later books spiritual direction from the same account. The parish sees that care is offered and used; it never sees what happens inside a session.

Edges plus referral

The campus counseling center

A university runs the platform with students in the directory. A student starts with a peer active listener; the ORS suggests more is needed, and the referral moves him to a licensed psychologist whose practice sits on the same platform. New helper, same record, nothing retold from scratch.

Respecting the Feedback Loop

Everyday we are receiving feedback on our platform. We have had our platform reviewed by dozens of pastors and parishes, Focus and the Catholic Campus Ministry Association, Bishops, and even the Veterans Administration. We have conducted a 90-day pilot program with real case scenarios, and now have a platform ready for launch.
