Giving to DMU

Our Mission

Divine Mercy University carries forward a proud tradition of forming graduate students in counseling and psychology through the lens of an authentic Catholic-Christian understanding of the human person—rooted deeply in theology and philosophy.

Each year, more than 80% of our students rely on scholarships to make their education possible, with the average award nearing $7,000. As the cost of education continues to rise, these scholarships are not just helpful—they are essential. They ensure that our students can pursue their calling to provide Christ-centered healing without being burdened by overwhelming debt.

Your generosity directly transforms lives. By supporting scholarships at DMU, you empower future counselors and psychologists to bring hope, compassion, and healing to those who need it most.

Below are several ways you can help students at DMU answer their call to serve.

Divine Mercy University is a crown jewel, a treasure, within our Diocese. I am so grateful for the beautiful work being carried out by Divine Mercy University and so glad and happy that the Diocese of Arlington is a place you call home.

– The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington

Scholarships

As the cost of education grows, we are committed to ensuring that our graduates can focus on the work of providing Christ-centered healing unburdened by debt.

St. Dymphna Chapel

True healing incorporates God’s grace with the skill of the human sciences, and we truly want this chapel to be “a house of prayer for all people.”
