Wondering if Divine Mercy University is the right place for you and your graduate education? Interested in learning more about the completely unique DMU vision, mission and groundbreaking education of healing through integrating Catholic anthropology and scientific psychology? Come and visit us!
Visit Days
The goal of our visit days is to give you a first-hand look into the richness of the DMU educational experience. Further, we invite you to interact with our community and network with students and faculty, which will be integral to any future applicant’s experience. Finally, we want you to physically engage in being here in our urban setting located in Sterling, VA, as we believe it will help you to better get a “feel” of our academic and community life.
Our Visit Days offer the fullest experience we can offer to our prospective students. They include visits with current students and faculty, meetings with Admissions, a tour of DMU, and a Faculty Case Conceptualization, which allows visitors to see the DMU integration model at work in a particular case! These visit days are pre-scheduled in order to give our visitors an optimal experience, and so reservations for these days are kindly requested at least one week in advance. If you are an applicant who has completed and submitted your entire application and are ready to schedule your interview day, we ask that you give us a two week notice at minimum.
Because our PsyD program is the only fully on-site program DMU offers, our on-site Visit Days are reserved for those interested in learning more about our on-site PsyD in Clinical Psychology program. If you are interested in learning more about one of the programs we offer and would like to visit, please reach out to our admissions office to discuss your interest!
Interview Days
The following visit days are connected to the interview days that are a part of the application process to the PsyD program. Therefore, there are a limited number of spots available on these days for prospective PsyD students who are not interviewing, so please reach out to the Admissions Office today if you would like to check for availability! Additionally, if you are interested in learning more about applying to the PsyD program here at Divine Mercy University, please visit our Admissions Information page, and reach out to our Admissions Office for more information! Please RSVP for one of these days by contacting our Admissions Office at admissions@divinemercy.edu with the date you would like to attend, and someone will follow up with further information for you! Please note that those interviewing as a part of the admission process (for more information about Admissions Interviews, click here) are required to RSVP for their interview day at least two weeks ahead of time, and all other visitors must RSVP at least a week ahead of time! This is to ensure that we have adequate time to prepare the best day possible for you at DMU!
