Biography

Carrie Delaney is in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is the founder of Wings to Fly LLC, a professional ministry located at wingstoflycm.com. Carrie Delaney has been providing spiritual direction for over a decade. She earned her certification in Spiritual Direction and the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises from the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction in Clearwater, Florida. She also completed training through Curate Ministries in Colorado on guiding couples through the Spiritual Exercises. In addition, she obtained her Supervision certification from the Lanteri Center for Ignatian Spirituality in Denver, Colorado. Before this current ministry, Carrie trained as a Healthcare Chaplain at Centra Hospital, where she now works part-time as a hospital chaplain. While living in Gaming, Austria, for two years, she led pilgrimages to Italy, Poland, France, and Bosnia. In her free time, she loves sharing her musical talent with others, drawing on 38 years of experience playing the flute across classical, jazz, and contemporary Christian genres.
