Biography
María is a pre-licensed counselor in the state of Georgia. She grew up in the DC metro area and has lived in Baltimore, Richmond, Charlotte, and for the last 25 years in Atlanta, GA. In addition to homeschooling her 5 children and leading Catholic homeschooling groups, María worked for many years in Special Education before moving into mental health counseling. She works with children, teens, young adults, and adults. She has a special interest in maternal mental health. She and her husband Alex have 5 adult children and (at last count) two adorable grandchildren.
