MSP Welcoming Video with Jeffrey Elliott

0:06Hi. My name is Jeff Elliott, and I'm the director of library services here at Divine Mercy University. And And I wanna congratulate you on your admittance into the MSP program. Part of the onboarding process that you will go through is we send a specific email to each student, telling them how to access the library and all of the resources there. Included in this specific email will be your library barcode and instructions on how to set up your password for your library account. Another email that you will get is describing the writing services that we have here at DMU, such as, you can contact a tutor live, about writing or about statistics. And also, we have access to something called the APA academic writer, which, helps in citing resources and references for papers using the APA style, the seventh edition.

1:17One big part of the onboarding process is to get you introduced to the library as a whole is there's a library orientation course. It's offered before your first class. It's completely online. It's required, and it's graded pass fail. And that's a basic introduction to all of the services that the library offers. The best way to contact the library is by email at library@divinemercy.edu. That way, all library staff can see your question and respond to it in a timely manner. And again, congratulations on your admittance into the MSP program. Feel free to contact me with any questions. And now I'd like to introduce Andrew Lemoine who assists with IT support for MSP students. And I look forward to hearing from you in the future as you progress through the MSP program.

2:16And thank you, and have a great day.
