Biography

A native of Virginia, Dr. Gross earned his B.A. in political science and religion from Hampden-Sydney College. After completing his M.T.S. at Harvard Divinity School, he earned his Ph.D. from Catholic University of America in 2013. Over the last ten years, he has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses both online and in the classroom for several different institutions. Dr. Gross also has published in the area of Catholic moral theology and presented his work at numerous scholarly conferences.  His writing has appeared in academic journals such as the Journal of Moral Theology, the Journal of Psychology and Theology, and the National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly.  His current research interests are in the area of Thomistic virtue ethics, theological and philosophical anthropology, marriage formation, and bioethics.  He currently resides in Manassas, VA, with his wife Jennifer and their seven children.
