Official Transcripts 

Request a transcript to be sent to yourself or a recipient external to DMU

Official transcripts are issued by the Office of the Registrar through the National Student Clearinghouse to the student or directly to their designated third party. Students may request a paper or electronic copy of their academic transcript to be sent to the recipient of their choosing by placing a transcript order through the National Student Clearinghouse.

Once your transcript order has been received, please allow 10 business days for the processing of paper copies and two business days for the processing of electronic copies. It is the responsibility of the requester to allow sufficient time to meet a deadline. If you have not allowed sufficient time to meet a deadline, every effort will be made to assist you with your rush request, however we are unable to guarantee delivery in less than 10 business days.

Order Transcript

Please note: if you wish to send a copy of your official transcript to a recipient internal to DMU, you do not need to fill out a transcript request form through the NSC. Instead, see the instructions below.

Request a transcript to be sent to a recipient internal to DMU

Students may request that an official copy of their transcript be internally transferred from one department at DMU to another free of charge by emailing the Registrar’s Office and indicating in their email: 

  1. The individual at DMU to whom they would like to release a copy of their transcript
  2. Their consent to this release
Unofficial Transcripts 

Students may access their unofficial transcript in the following way:

  1. Sign in to your Populi account.
  2. Click the “My Profile” tab.
  3. On your student profile, click the “Student” tab.
  4. You should now be on the “Transcript” tab. Right underneath the “Transcript” tab, click “Transcript Actions” and “Export.”
  5. Select your transcript settings, and then click “Export.” An unofficial copy of your transcript will then download.
